Guided tour

The organizers would like to present Kraków as a place of heritage of the European culture.

There is a possibility to take part in the guided walking tour around the Old Town. The cost are covered by organizers, accompaning persons are welcome. The tour will take an hour and a half. You can choose one of the possible dates:

• Monday, Sep 5 at 16.00
• Monday, Sep 5 at 18.00
• Thursday, Sep 8 at 14.00
• Friday, Sep 9 at 19.15 (booked out)
• Saturday, Sep 10 at 14.00

in the questionnaire below. The meeting point is infront of the "Auditorium Maximum", ul. Krupnicza.

Welcome lunch

On the first day of the conference (Tuesday, Sep 6) there will be a welcome lunch in "Auditorium Maximum", Exhibition Hall, Floor 2. During the next days the lunches are not provided, there is a vast choice of restaurants and cantines nearby.

Excursion to the Wieliczka Salt Mine

On Thursday we plan an excursion to the Wieliczka Salt Mine. The Wieliczka Salt Mine is an extraordinary place hidden from the world, full of secrets and legends. The Wieliczka Salt Mine is now an official Polish Historic Monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its attractions include the shafts and labyrinthine passageways, displays of historic salt-mining technology, an underground lake, four chapels and numerous statues carved by miners out of the rock salt, and more recent sculptures by contemporary artists. You have to be aware that the distance of the tour is 2,4 km and it includes 800 stairs going down. The temperature inside is about 17C.

The busses for participants of the excursion will leave from the Ingardena Street (next to the "Jubilee Building") on Thursday at 16.00. The cost of the ticket is 119PLN and it will be collected during the registration on Monday or Tuesday (cash only).

Conference Dinner

The Conference Dinner will take place in the Warszawa Hall in the Wieliczka Salt Mine, 125 m under the ground. The temperature in the Hall is about 17C. For participants taking part in the Excursion to Salt Mine the Waszawa Hall is the last stop of the excursion. In case you do not attend the excursion there will be special busses for participants and accompanying persons. The busses will leave from the Ingardena St. Thursday at 17.00. (next to the "Jubilee Building") which take you to Wieliczka Salt Mine and you will reach the Warszawa Hall by lift. The conference budge is also the ticket for the Conference dinner, we kindly request to take it with you. For accompanying person the cost of the dinner is 280 PLN. The participant needs to fill in the form bellow and declare that you take part in the dinner with accompanying person,  the payment will be collected during the registration on Monday or Thursday morning (cash only). Accompanying persons will get a special invitation for the dinner. As a regular Menu beef and veal will be served.

After the dinner everyone will be taken to the ground level by lift and then by bus to the city center.
